No Babies are a hardcore no-wave band out of Oakland, CA. A guess at the lineup in this video would be Yacob, Misha, Ricky, Ace and Marissa.
They are a mashup of 80s, 90s, and 00s sound and ideas that comes across raw, ridiculous, and awesome. You should check them out live at any opportunity.
Their self-titled full length LP is on Upset! The Rhythms. They also have a 4 way split with Soft Shoulder, Orange Coax and Busy Lights on Gilgongo records. Ricky gave me a split cassette they put out with Shearing Pinx, so I think they’ve got some other smaller releases as well.
